30 Mile Massed Start – Jersey Cycling

In very poor conditions the 30 mile mass start event commenced at 8 o'clock from the Water splash Five mile road with a 10 lap course by way of Val de la Mare. During the first lap L.Grant was dropped by the main bunch and was not able to close the gap. On the seventh lap M.Machon had bad luck when his back tyre was punctured at the foot of Jubilee Hill and could not finish the race.
