CYQL How to Use & Join
What is Cyql?
Cyql is a mobile & computer desktop app designed for cyclists. It lets you:
Join scheduled rides, see events, check route details, track attendance, stay updated with any announcements and many many more items.

1. Getting Started
Step 1 – Download the App – iPhone: App Store → search “Cyql” – Android: Google Play → search “Cyql” – Desktop: Search “Cyql.app”
Step 2 – Create an Account – Open the app – Sign up using your email – Create a password – Verify your email if prompted
Step 3 – Join Jersey Cycling, Tap Join Club – Search for “Jersey Cycling” – Press Join
2. Navigating the App
Home Screen – Shows the latest rides, updates, and any club notifications.
Rides – View all upcoming club rides, filter by date, type, distance, or pace
Tap a ride to see: Start time & location, Route map (if added), Estimated pace, Ride leader/s, Who’s attending
Events – Larger events or special club activities (e.g. races, socials, workshops).
3. Joining a Ride
Tap Rides – Select the ride you want – Press Join – You’re in!
You can also tap Leave Ride at any time if you can no longer attend.
4. Viewing Ride Details
Inside each ride you can: See the route (GPX if uploaded), Message the ride leader, Check start location on the map
See who else is attending
5. Creating a Ride (for admins only)
Tap Create Ride – Add ride name (e.g., “Sunday Social 40km”) – Choose date & start time – Add start location (from saved locations) – Upload route (optional from GPX library) – Add ride description & pace- Add your clubs tag – Tap Publish
Members will be notified automatically.
6. Notifications
Cyql can notify you about: New rides added, Ride cancellations, Time changes, Messages from admins
Make sure notifications are enabled in your phone settings.
7. Tips for Jersey Cycling Members
Always join rides you plan to attend – it helps leaders plan numbers.
If you can’t make it, please leave the ride so the leader knows.
Check Cyql on the morning of the ride in case weather or venue changes.
Keep your profile updated (bike type, emergency contact).
8. Troubleshooting
Can’t find Jersey Cycling?
→ Make sure your spelling is correct: “Jersey Cycling”
Ride not showing?
→ Filters may be turned on — reset filters.
Notifications not working?
→ Check your phone’s app settings → Cyql → Notifications ON.
Stuck anywhere?
→ Ask a committee member or message us through Cyql.
