Race Report
Fourteen riders competed in the 25 mile time trial held yesterday morning.
From the start and the finishing point at Five Oaks the competitors rode as far as Vinchelez via St.Martin’s and Trinity, then back to Five Oaks.
A warm welcome was given to Mike Sallai making a come back after a recent illness. The race was won by Don Ecobichon to beat the course record. Second was W.Rowe who is fast returning to his old form. It is interesting to note that only 10 seconds covered second, third and fourth positions. Bill Aubert, Club Veteran returned a time of 1:10:51, beating his previous best time of the year for this event by 13 minutes. K.de la Haye returned the fastest time in the juniors beating J.Callec by 3 minutes.
