Bouley Bay Hill Climb

The Caesarean Cycling Club held their annual hill climb using Bouley Bay for this event, the last contest in the best all rounder championship. The hill was very wet and the riders had to be skilful to corner without sliding. W Rowe placed first being 8.3 seconds behind his record. S Perchard was second and J P Richardson, G Audoire and A Blyth placed equal third. The results of the best all rounder is that Miss S Gueno is lady club champion with Miss C Dowsing second and Miss G Audoire third. In the Junior section D Ecobichon was first, G Banks second and G Van Dam third. D Ecobichon is the first junior to win the juniors twice since the formation of the club 21 years ago. W Rowe won the seniors for the fifth year in succession. E Le Huquet was second with J P Richardson third.
